Köfte in Buca: Grilled, İnegöl or Butcher's Köfte?
19 October 2026

Köfte (Turkish meatballs) is one of the most ordered dishes at our charcoal grill in Buca, İzmir. The question we hear most on the phone: "İnegöl, kasap or grilled köfte, what is the difference?" Here are our three köfte, straight from our kitchen. See our menu for current prices.
Grilled köfte: the classic
Our grilled köfte comes as a 180 g portion, cooked over charcoal when you order, served with sumac onions, seasonal salad, lavash and roasted pepper.
İnegöl köfte: small and juicy
Named after the town of İnegöl in Bursa, these are small, finger-shaped meatballs. They cook quickly over the fire and stay juicy inside. Served with salad, sumac onions, lavash, roasted pepper and tomato.
Kasap (butcher's) köfte: for meat lovers
Butcher-style köfte that lets the flavour of the meat lead. Same sides: salad, sumac onions, lavash, roasted pepper and tomato.
For a crowd: köfte by the kilo
We also grill köfte by the half kilo or kilo, better value per gram for groups.
